Girls from 4th Colne, 6th Colne and 1st Trawden Guide Units showed that ‘Guides have Talent’. They entertained family and friends  at their annual Talent Show. Trawden Guides took part in a play about the tradition of giving gifts at the different festivals celebrated around the world.  4th Colne preformed an original take on the traditional Cinderella fairy tale.  Guides from the three units showed off their musical skills on the keyboard, recorder and clarinet.  There were also a singing group a gymnastic display and a magic trick or two to round off a great evening.

Gardening at Holy Trinity Church

Guides weed the raised beds at the back of the hall ready for planting herbs.  They hope the Brownies will help with the watering too.

Guides keep local green space clean and well weeded to help Colne in Bloom win gold in the North West In Bloom 2016 competition.

Community work undertaken by Guides working towards their Baden Powell Challenge with
woodland bulb planting and dead hedge building on the Waterside Millennium Green Colne.
Senior Section, Brownie, Guides, Rainbows and Leaders all enjoy Country Dancing session led by Joan Wilkinson of 14th Nelson (St Paul’s) Brownie Unit at the Pendle Division Thinking Day Event at the Colne Exchange Street Project Building.
