World Thinking Day Party

3rd Whalley Methodist Brownies invited St Mary’s Langho Brownies to their meeting to celebrate World Thinking Day. The Brownies had a great evening singing songs, playing games, decorating biscuits with the Trefoil on and painting tealight holders which they then gave to a new friend they made that night. Lovely Lanterns!

Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section from Ribble Valley Division took part in the first ‘Snow Moon Lantern Parade’ in Clitheroe on Saturday 3rd February. The young members had been busy making their lanterns in the previous three weeks from willow and tissue paper. They were very excited to make lanterns and take part in the parade. Happy 40th Birthday Grindleton Brownies!

Brownies (girls aged 7 to 10) from neighbouring groups came together to celebrate the “official” 40th birthday of 1st Grindleton Brownies with a Disco party. The event was timed to commemorate the date that the unit was first registered at HQ in London in January 1978. However, it has been a long party as the girls began their celebrations in May 2017 with a Minion themed camp under canvas, marking 40 years from the date of the first recorded meeting!
