Alyssa Wrennall from 3rd Holy Trinity Guides has completed her Baden Powell Award, the highest award that can be gained by a Guide. To successfully achieve this she had to complete ten challenges, many of them working with her Patrol.

Alyssa’s toughest challenge was to complete her Patrol Camp Permit last September which involved organising a camp for five Guides at Bowley Scout Campsite in Great Harwood. Alyssa planned all aspects of the camp, with activities that included a treasure hunt, archery lesson, and crafting. This experience allowed Alyssa flex her organisational skills and develop new ones such as budgeting and negotiation.

Alyssa will now become a Young leader at 3rd Holy Trinity Guides and work on her Leadership Award. She also plans to become a Peer Educator later this year.
